The ancestral home of the world-renowned Gillow furniture family, Leighton Hall is still lived in today and is no stuffy museum – there aren’t any roped-off areas here!Stepping inside Leighton Hall is a step back in time. It is situated within the Silverdale & Arnside area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s parkland and gardens are simply breath taking and behind the Hall itself, is a working estate of farms, accommodation, network of footpaths for walking, clay pigeon shooting facilities and even an off road track.Leighton Hall is in Carnforth, just 10 minutes drive from Junction 35 of the M6.Opening times and prices:Main Season: 1st May - 26th September2pm to 5pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)Also open on Bank Holiday Sundays and Mondays throughout August.Adult: £10.50Child: (5 - 12yrs) £6.25Senior Citizens & Students: £9.50Registered Carer: £6.95Family: (2 adults & up to 3 children) £37.50Each ticket includes a guided tour of Leighton Hall, access to the Garden and Woodland Walk and the Bird of Prey display, which runs from May to September.
