Taking part in a Cross Bay Walk is an exceptional way to enjoy the stunning beauty of Morecambe Bay. Crossing the sands with an experienced and knowledgeable guide is the only way to traverse the ever-changing flats and channels, and this amazing experience is a must for visitors to the area. You can choose from two amazing routes: ARNSIDE TO GRANGE WALKSA historic bay walk across the bay from Arnside to Grange. Although the walk dates back to the era of Henry VIII and the original route was from Hest Bank to Kents Bank, due to the soft sand at Hest Bank therefore the route is now Arnside to Grange. Today, the walk from Arnside is a lovely walk with a varied terrain and is between 5.5 to 9 miles depending on the safest route.
